Playa de Muro
Playa de Muro is an spectacular beach with four sections covering about six kilometres. It is located in Muro county, near Alcudia, and each of these four sections are of fine white sand and crystalline clear waters. Playa de Muro is ideal for families because of its easy access and its various services: restaurants, facilities, activities for children, children's areas... and also for its comfortable shallow waters.
Section 1, known simply as Playa de Muro, is 3 kilometres away from Port d'Alcudia beach. Due to its proximity, it might be the best known beach in Playa de Muro. Here you can find a large number of hotels and restaurants, parkings and other useful facilities.
Section 2 is somewhat quieter, but still with easy access to the same facilities. As you approach Sector 3, also known as Es Comú, the beach is quieter, with facilities and access being a longer walk away. This section is part of the S'Albufera Natural Park, and is the Beach extension of the Park with dunes and pine woods surrounding it.

Playa de Alcudia
Playa de Alcudia is about 3.5 km long and and specially suitable for families. It has showers, toilets and dressing rooms, an special play area for children with gymnastic equipment. Loungechairs and parasols can also be rented for the whole day.
Port d'Alcudia is usually livier, as the main facilities are there, while moving towards Playa de Muro is quieter and more relaxing.
It has a wooden walkway with shaded areas and platforms, which makes it accessible for wheelchairs and simple to people with reduced mobility or the elderly ones.

Son Real Nature Reserve
Son Real Nature Reserve is a reference point for the archaeological heritage of our island. It also has great historical value. The first signs of human occupation that can be found in its sites correspond to the dolmen period, with the remains of a dolmen and three hypogea (artificial burial caves).
From the proto-Talayotic period we find the archaeological site of Es Figueral, and also from the Talayotic period the sites related to funeral rites, such as the Necropolis of Son Real, also known as “Punta dels Fenicis”.
Apart from its archaeological wealth, in Son Real Nature Reserve area you can visit samples of a recent rural past, which can be seen in the “Possesions”, typical Mallorcan rustic estates with Manor Houses such as Ses Cases Noves, built in the early years of 20th century. There are also other constructions from the Middle Ages (Can Morell, Ca n'Apol-lònia and Ca s'Amitger or the old house of Ca's Amos), an architectural complex that includes Manor Houses, a Courtyard, Defence towers, a Chapel, Warehouses and samples of cutlery.
Son Real Nature Reserve is also the ideal place to observe the more than 200 species of birds that live in the area, and also has several observation stations, signposted routes and information points.
